Here are all my chemicals lined up that is belonging to any of my fuel additives. I have sought to use relatively easily accessible products. Some special
compounds such as X66, G+ and MCO20, ωFe, i¤b and ferrocene have its own page where you can get detailed information on how they are manufactured.

Of the type hydro treated naphtha.
Is hitherto the most long-acting component for E85. Pure lighter fluid without diesel can work a while but sooner or later required that one also dispenses
the diesel.
Do not replace white spirit in D66 with lighter fluid!
Avoid the finer environmentally friendly alternatives - these do not work. Lighter fluids containing paraffins are directly unsuitable for vehicle fuels. The
paraffin clogs both filters and injectors. Choose instead the cheap and environmentally disgusting variety (the white spirit-based).
This type of bottle for this chemical is very suitable for the storage of petroleum products. The stopper seals axially in contrast to the bottle of white
spirit, which means that cracking is avoided around the cork.

Used as a filler fluid in Di66 because the additive before dosing must emulsify while shaking. Must be an anhydrous alcohol product
(for fuel purposes) as for example; stove-fuels, methanol etc. IPA (gas-dryer) or E85 is not allowed. Methylated spirit or concentrated
washer fluid can not be used as they contain water.

Coolant (ethylene glycol) without salt inhibitors. Usually more expensive and of finer quality than the blue ethylene glycol.
2017 was the year I discovered that my glycol additives worked again - with the help of water - read more
about ”water” below. The market for antifreeze glycols has changed lately and Biltema's glycols can no longer be recommended because they no longer
contain the substances that improve the combustion of ethanol fuel.
The substance I referred to is: ”sodium 2-ethylhexanoate” (S-EHN) and dominated the market's red long life glycols, in the past. Nowadays most
of it contain: ”potassium 2-ethylhexanoate” that does not give the same positive effects. Strangely enough, there is an affordable blue coolant which
contains S-EHN - called Lahega BS-6580. This glycol does not even reach VW class, ie lower than G11. Nevertheless, is it based on OAT technology and
not IAT that usually distinguish blue glycols?
The antifreeze glycols that may be eligible here should comply with G12 (TL-774D) or G12+ (TL-774F).
Do not choose G12++ or G13 because they are silicate based! The difference is that the G12 also contains fluorescent color which not G12+ do. According to BASF
labeling, both G12 and G12+ are a G30. G12+ is yellow, purple or uncolored.
Castrol Radicool SF is the only G12 I know for sure but Arom-decor has a number of nice G12+ as contain S-EHN (not P-EHN). The product
AdProline has a red and a yellow and both are 774F glycols, ie G12+ XLC. See picture to the right.
Propylene glycol is not an alternative for my glycol additives.

Exactly what is required of a blue glycol at the moment can I not give a good answer at, but if you assume that same types of salts are used today that were
also used when DiG was created, then there are a lot of brands to choose from. The only point to use blue glycol is when one needs to utilize DiG, which is a
rather extreme fuel additive.
Most blue glycols contain: ”sodium tetraborate, pentahydrate” - same as damp borax. Blue glycols are more alkaline than red. For example
Number 1 which is spiced with potassium hydroxide (potassium lye), a very powerful base! The picture show a blue by AdProLine (TL-774C).

For all additives based on glycol must water exist in the fuel - at least 0.5%. This knowledge was hidden until autumn 2017 when a number of tests were
conducted. However, the science behind using water is still unknown. E85 in the past contained some water and therefore it went well to develop my glycol
additives then. Today's E85 is very dry and it has thus higher energy content (a contradiction when glycol gets in to the picture). The absence of water in E85
allows diesel oil to dissolve in any proportions.
When adding the additives AG+, G14a or UGA in dry E85 shall thus also water be dispensed.
Water, which according to the regulations has nothing to do with combustion more than counteract temperature
rise is not the first one to suggest? For example, if it is about catalytic cleavage of water molecules or ”cold fusion” am I not able to give a statement
about, but it is extremely positive that we finally realized what has destroyed our E85 - lack of water is the answer.
Instead adding water one can also choose pre-mixed coolant. This usually consists of 50% glycol and 50% non-ionic water. The cheapest is to buy both components
separately, which can be establishing if one ponder a while... In ”intricate questions about conversion” (question 7) one can read about how I got to
know the problem regarding today's water-free E85.
The optimal percentage is currently not determined, but according to ongoing measurements:
1-2% water summertime and 0.5% water wintertime (for undiluted E85 in Sweden 2018-01).
